Local Technical Solutions Firm credited with fast
growth
America’s
Remote Help Desk (ARHD) has recently been recognized for its growth
and achievements with several business awards. ARHD, an Eldersburg
based network technology solutions provider has been recognized
by both the Baltimore Business Journal and Baltimore SmartCEO for
its growth both
within the tech industry and for the company as a whole.
In September 2004, ARHD was named by Baltimore Business Journal
(BBJ) to both the list of BBJ Largest E-Business-Providers and the
BBJ Largest Network System Integrators in the Baltimore Area. The
BBJ Largest E-Business-Providers list, shows the largest E-business
providers in Baltimore and the surrounding area. The BBJ Largest
Network System Integrators in the Baltimore Area list represents
the top network solutions providers in Baltimore and the surrounding
area.
In December 2004, ARHD was again honored – this time for its
growth. ARHD was named to the Baltimore SmartCEO Future 50 List.
This award is Baltimore SmartCEO’s list of fastest growing
companies in Baltimore and the surrounding area, based on sales
and number of employees. America’s Remote Help Desk has been
ranked in the Top 50 on the list, due to its overall sales growth
for the past 3 years.

The
company provides its clients with a number of technical solutions
to keep their operations running smoothly. These include network
installation services, remote help desk, and training. The service
that really sets America's Remote Help Desk apart is their Remote
Help Desk service where a user having a technical problem calls
a Help Desk Technician who can quickly log into the user’s
computer over the Internet and solve the problem remotely. This
allows for a much quicker response to the user’s problem.
At the same time, ARHD support staff show the user how to solve
the problem on their own computer so that they will be able to handle
similar situations in the future by themselves.
America’s Remote Help Desk started and maintains its offices
in Eldersburg, where several of its employees also live. The company
was founded by Rich Rubinstein, its current president, who oversees
operations and Josh Lippy who is responsible for providing the technical
services to companies and their end users. Rubinstein, a longtime
Eldersburg resident, is involved in several local organizations
including the South Carroll Business Association, Carroll County
Chamber of Commerce, Carroll Technology Council, Start-Up Carroll,
and is also involved in local school sports. Rubinstein stated,
“I enjoy coaching young kids in all sports and helping them
learn at an early age about teamwork, success and failure. I believe
that it is very important for them to understand that failure is
