Police
in Pennsylvania were serving a court order to Michael Voland,
45, on Thursday involving the confiscation of firearms stemming
from a domestic complaint when Voland fled from police in a
Chevrolet truck and crossed over into Maryland. Voland eluded
police in the woods off of Route 97 north of Sykesville.

A
15-year-old juvenile from the Sykesville area was arrested and
charged at 2:25 a.m. on Tuesday, July 26, with Juvenile Delinquency,
to wit: Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle. DFC George Ellis
stopped the driver of a 2002 Honda for reckless driving on the
parking lot of Carrolltown Center. After stopping the vehicle,
Ellis learned that the youth had taken his mother's car from their
residence without her permission.

resident of the 6500 block of Kali Drive in Eldersburg reported
that someone had pulled 16 pine trees from the front lawn of the
residence. The crime, which occurred between 10:30 p.m. on Sunday,
July 24, and 9 a.m. on Monday, July 25, resulted in $417.98 in
damages.

credit card accounts of an Eldersburg resident were illegally
accessed on Monday, July 18, resulting in approximately $1,000
in unauthorized purchases.

Unattended
children: A 3-year-old boy, left with his 1-year-old sister in
a parked vehicle with the engine running about 11 a.m. July 9,
released himself from his car seat and put the black 2003 Ford
Excursion into neutral. The SUV crashed into an office suite at
the Carroll Square business center in the 1000 block of Liberty
Road. The mother, 31, received a citation for leaving a child
unattended in a motor vehicle.

Theft:
A wallet with $85 and a $50 Victoria's Secret gift card was reported
stolen between 10:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. June 23 from a purse
in a locker at the Chop House in the 1400 block of Liberty Road.
