This is the weekly source for all the unofficial stuff that may not be in Eldersburg Print. I'm Jay-Burg, local resident, worker bee, and connoisseur of everything E-Burg.

Byte-size subs, now at Jerry's
It looks like the previous owner of One Stop Computer Shop is now endeavoring into the gourmet food business, more specifically, taking over as owner of the Eldersburg Jerry's Subs and Pizza, in the Shopper's Food shopping center, next to Liberatore's. The previous Eldersburg computer repair and service shop owner, Sean Brooks, has recently taken over the franchise location. How many gigs would you like with your order?

The Waiting Game
Last week we provided an update on the delay in the building of Main Street Eldersburg. It seems that the Piney Ridge Village Center, whose huge groundbreaking is following suit. Word on the Street is that the Piney Ridge project is looking to attract more upscale tenants, and charge accordingly upscale prices.....however in the currently econonmy, it's tough to do until someone (Main Street Eldersburg) sets the market rates for upscale Eldersburg retail space rent. So, the delay in Main Street Eldersburg is having a ripple effect, also delaying the move from Salerno's on Liberty Road.
