In a small, unassuming brick building lies a treasure of Eldersburg: J&Y Seafood Market and Sushi. Don't let its exterior fool you; without a doubt, it has the best sushi in southern Carroll County. While a little more pricey than other local sushi offerings, J&Y's sushi has an artistic quality in it. The restaurant serves some pretty exotic sushi, but if you can't find what you're looking for, the staff are all too happy to make a custom order. Adjacent to the sushi restaurant is a seafood market, which sells the same fresh fish they use to make their sushi, along with the rice, wraps, and sauces for those who want to try making their own sushi.
