BDG Entrepreneurial organizes another $20 on the 20th event

Eldersburg’s BDG Entrepreneurial, owned by Doug Howard, will be organizing another $20 on the 20th event on Sunday, Dec. 20, only this time it will encompass all of Carroll.

After the somewhat successful first $20 on the 20th event, Howard is increasing the scope. He is encouraging county residents to spend up to $20 at local businesses on the day of the event in an effort to help the local economy.

As with the last event, Howard is looking for the assistance of Carroll-area businesses to help with organization and getting the word out. In Eldersburg’s $20 on the 20th BDG Entrepreneurial partnered with groups such as the South Carroll Business Association (SCBA) and the Freedom Area Citizens’ Council (FACC).

Any businesses wishing to participate need only register with BDG Entrepreneurial. Registration is free and guarantees that the business’s name will be listed flyers, the Web site, or any other related materials. Businesses are encouraged to offer customer specials for the day in order to increase resident participation.

Howard is also seeking sponsors for the economic initiative in order to help pay for advertising and other promotional items. Sponsorships start at $250. Bank sponsorships, if which only three are being sought, start at $1000. All sponsors will be specially recognized on any advertising.
