Once again, Sykesville’s Millard Cooper Park has been converted into an outdoor concert venue. The event? Sykesville’s annual Concert in the Park series.
The concert series drew over 200 people to its opening night on July 9th and has kept up its momentum with popular local rock groups. This week’s act is Drew Stevyns, a Sykesville native and “America’s Got Talent” finalist. He will be laying a mix of original and cover songs at the concert on August 6th.
Also featured is local band Crossfade performing for back-to-school concert on August 13th.
In addition to the music, local vendors, including Hoffman’s and Chick-fil-A, will be selling snacks.
The concerts are from 7-9 pm and are free and weather-permitting.
