A local Eldersburg photographer has put together a special family and holiday portrait event to help raise money for a local Sykesville girl who has been diagnosed with Leukimia. Photographer Christina Martin will be holding a photo shoot on Saturday, November 27, 2010 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church.  There will be 4 backgrounds to choose from:

• Blue
• Autumn
• Christmas
• Dickens

The packages available are for $95 and include:

• Session Fee
• 1 8x10
• 2 5x7
• 8 wallet size

Additional packages and holiday cards are available. There is on-site viewing and ordering of pictures. To schedule an appointment, call 410-795-7997.  Almost all of the proceeds will be donated to help Taylor Mannas.

Taylor Mannas is a 13 year old 8th grader at Sykesville Middle School who was diagnosed with Leukemia in 2009.  She is currently receiving chemotherapy treatment at UMMC Children's Hospital.  After three years of treatment, her family is looking forward to hearing the word "Remission" in October 2011.  This fundraiser will help offset medical expenses.
