Piney Run Park will host the Lunar Lunker nighttime bass fishing tournament on Friday, August 13th. The nighttime fishing tournament opens its gates at 6 p.m. and closes at midnight. Park entrance fees for contestants will be waived, but the $8 boat launch fee will still apply.
Prizes for the top three weighed-in largemouth bass will awarded: 1st place is $200 and a trophy, 2nd place is $150, and 3rd place is $100.
Rental boats may be reserved for the event for $20, and pre-registration is strongly encouraged. More information is available from Piney Run Park's office at 410-795-5165.
