The weekend of December 11-12, 2010 was a busy one for Elders Baptist Church, Eldersburg, Md. The church's annual Christmas play was entitled "The First Noel, Born is the King" and highlighted scenes surrounding Jesus' birth through story and song. Directed by Rev. Dee Solomon, the shepherd choir sang a mix of modern and classic Christmas songs. Many members of the church made up the costumed cast of Joseph, Mary, Baby Jesus, Elizabeth, Zechariah, the three wise men, the wise men's entourages, angels and shepherds. The church's choir and actors performed three times over the weekend and welcomed many guests from the community to each performance.
