The Freedom District Lions Club entered a team of walkers in the Step-Out Walk to stop diabetes sponsored by the American Diabetes Association. The walk was held in Frederick on October 9, 2011. Our Club wishes to thank those individuals and organizations who sponsored our walkers. Pictured above are: Lion Joe Self, Team Captain (right) and Lion Don Champ. Absent from the picture was walker Lion Jacquie Self. The Lions next fund-raiser to help worthy causes will be their annual Citrus Fruit sale.
