The Liberty High School Drama Club has once again put together a show like never before. This year, Director and Drama Teacher for Liberty High School, Tony Cimino has chosen to recreate the timeless tale of “A Christmas Carol”. When one first walks into the Schnorr Auditorium, they immediately see the most amazing high school play set they’ve ever seen. I thought they had made so much money last year that they were able to hire professionals to build their set. But upon further investigation, I found that it was actually built by the students. The students of the show have been working tirelessly for months on this show, and I now completely understand why. The students in lead roles this year have definitely learned from past stars such as Shane Moran (graduate of 2011) and Jenna Reed (graduate of 2010), and it shows. Furthermore, Tony Cimino has never failed at coaching young actors to be as real as ever thought possible. The show features a role called “Spirits” in which there are about 4 students. These “Spirits” help make the emotion and feel of the play become real. All in all, the show is once again, top notch and definitely worth seeing.
