For the seventh year, Eldersburg.Net and the Carroll Eagle (formerly the Eldersburg Eagle) are sponsoring the Eldersburg Photo Contest. The Eldersburg Photo Contest 2011 will have multiple categories and prizes, and will feature pictures from local photographers.
The categories are:
- Landscape: Landscapes, nature, wildlife, sunsets, lakes, forests, outdoors, etc.
- Still Life & Architecture: Buildings, landmarks, non-living items and objects, man-made structures
- People: Any photo that features a person or a group of people as a main focus.
- Ages 13 and younger: Our “Young Photographer” category; photos taken by a resident age 13 or younger.
