DAI-Walmart-US-logo-304Mr Dixon Harvey, president of Black Oak Associates, aanouned to a large crowd of Eldersburg residents a $50 million renovation project for Carrolltown Center.  This once busy mall and shopping center has lost merchant after merchant over the last several years leaving an eye-sore and near empty building at the Ridge Road and Liberty Road intersection.  Mr. Harvey's $50 million renovation project would include demoliting the existing structure and building up a new center with 8 new building.  These 8 new building would house 20 merchants and 5 or 6 restaurants all anchored by a Wal-mart Supercenter.

Depending on plan approval, construction could begin in the fall looking at a completion date of spring 2015.
