The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office announced that they have re-captured an inmate who was accidentally released from the Carroll County Detention Center on July 30th.
Thomas Manley Raver, 42, of Pennsylvania Avenue in Westminster was being held at the county detention center while awaiting trial for charges of burglary. He was mistakenly released by officers just short of noon. Police say that it was due to detention center officials processing a release of an inmate of the same last name.
According to Major Philip J. Kasten, a warrant was issued for Raver. He was found at his home and was taken back into custody without incident.
