Launches Local Video Program – Eldersburg Today
Local Web Site Produces Internet Show Featuring Eldersburg People
and Lifestyles

31, 2006 – Eldersburg.Net, an Eldersburg-based web site, has
just launched a new online video show named Eldersburg Today.
The local show will be produced and run on Eldersburg.Net in several
web formats. The new show features local Eldersburg people, businesses,
events, lifestyles and more. The show runs in length about ten to
fifteen minutes per episode and is presented in both Windows Media
and Flash formats. Eldersburg.Net publisher Jon Allen explains the
reason for the show – “We wanted to showcase Eldersburg
life that isn’t always covered in the papers or suitable for
print format. For example, we’ll be providing musical performances,
onsite interviews, and more, where the video experience adds a whole
new dimension to a story.”
The first show features local businessman Doug Howard discussing
the Start-Up Carroll program and starting a small business in Carroll
County. It is shot on location at the offices of Start-Up Carroll.
The show helps local residents understand more about the program
and business resources in the area.
Production of the show has been done by a local video company, Waganer
Digital Video, who has over twenty years of video experience and
has worked with such clients as CNN, NBC, ABC, CBS, BBC, and Maryland
Public Television, as well as dozens of others. Jon Allen adds,
“We are fortunate to be working closely with Richard Waganer
and Waganer Digital Video on Eldersburg Today. More important than
their exceptional video talent, Rich shares the vision of wanting
to use video to tell the story of the Eldersburg community and the
interesting personalities around us.”
Eldersburg.Net is an Eldersburg, Maryland web site featuring news,
