October 31, Saturday
Join the Eldersburg Rogue Runners for a Saturday morning run and a bagel. The event starts at 8 a.m. at Liberty High School.

 


The Downtown Westminster Farmers Market will be held from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Conaway Parking Lot, Railroad Avenue and Emerald Hill Lane. The market offers fresh fruit, vegetables, baked goods, plants, and other products. Contact Stan Ruchlewicz at 410-848-5294 for more information.


Head to River Valley Ranch in Manchester for the Maizefest from 12 to 6 p.m (Oct. 2 and 10), 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. (Oct. 17, 24 and 31), or 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. (Oct. 18 and 25). The festival features a corn maze, hayrides, pony rides and other children’s activities. Contact Lindy Pinkerton at 410-712-1010 ext. 25 for more information.

 

October 30 and 31, Friday and Saturday
Start Halloween early with the Lineboro Fire Department by taking part in their Bedlam in the Boro at 4224 Main St. in Lineboro. The events last from 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and include a haunted house and a 4-mile haunted hayride. For more information contact the department at 410-239-4467.
