Now until December 14
The Sykesville Freedom District Fire Department will be having its 4th Annual Toy Drive in partnership with Johns Hopkins Children’s Center. They ask that you bring and unwrapped toys to the station for children in need.

 

Now until December 23, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Cut your own Christmas tree at Pine Valley Farms, 1150 Fannie Dorsey Rd. Begin a family tradition by cutting your own Christmas tree from their 120-acre tree farm. Carts are available to haul back your tree and saws are available too. Enjoy food and warm beverages that are for sale during weekend hours.

 

November 25, Wednesday
The Freedom District Lions Club will have one of its semimonthly meetings starting around 7 p.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church (5600 Old Washington Rd.) in Sykesville. Dinner is served family style.

 

November 30, 2009
Eldersburg 2020, a local community group that meets to discuss current events and how they will impact the Eldersburg area in the long-term, will be meeting on Monday, November 30 at 6:30 PM Read more

December 2, Wednesday
Drop by the Eldersburg Library at 4 p.m. to make some crafts. The crafts made vary each time. Children under 3 must be accompanied by an adult.
