Join the fun at Piney Run Nature Center! Holiday music and the aroma of hot cider are sure to put you in the holiday spirit. Saturday, December 10th, Adults Craft Day (ages 16 and over) Come for a fun filled day of holiday workshops and demonstrations. The morning session will be 10 am until12 noon; followed by a pot luck luncheon. The afternoon session will be 1:00pm - 3:00 pm.

Saturday, December 17th, saplings (children ages 6 – 15), will be able to make decorations and ornaments using the best supplies from nature. From making a special present, to holiday decorations and ornaments, children will enjoy all their own creations – and you will too! Children ages 6-8 should be accompanied by an adult. Services hours can be earned by students ages 14 and up by volunteering for these events.

Please contact the Piney Run Nature Center at 410-795-6043 for more information and to register for these craft days. The Board of County Commissioners sponsors these and other activities at the Piney Run Park through Recreation and Parks. Piney Run is located at 30 Martz Road, Sykesville, MD.
