Here they come around the bend – and it’s Rental Solutions by a nose!

Rental Solutions is an Eldersburg-based equipment rental company founded in 2009 that recently supplied equipment to all three Triple Crown horse races – the Preakness, the Kentucky Derby and the Belmont Stakes. It rents out a variety of items from construction equipment like forklifts and backhoes to kitchen and catering supplies like deep fryers and dishwashers.

Triple Crown service

This is the first time the company has provided service to all three major horse races in one year, a press release said. “This is truly an exciting year for us,” said Tom Brown Jr., VP of Rental Solutions, in the release. “Not only did we open the doors of Rental Solutions in 2009, but we came out of the gate running and were able to provide services and equipment to all three races. They went off without a hitch, and we’re hopeful that we’ll have the opportunity to do it again next year.”

For the Preakness Rental Solutions supplied kitchen equipment, a tented kitchen and power generators and back-up generators. The Kentucky Derby saw them providing more kitchen equipment such as a double-stack over and a mobile dishwasher. Belmont had them supplying air conditioning and power to the existing facility.

What they provide

For being a first-year company the list of what Rental Solutions can provide is fairly large. Aside from the aforementioned construction equipment and kitchen supplies the company also rents out landscape equipment such as chippers and tillers, homeowner equipment such as chainsaws and pressure washers, event equipment such as party tents and inflatables, moving equipment such as dump trucks and trailers, climate control equipment such as air conditioners and fans, and power generation with generators and transformers.

Of course what good is having all this equipment without the proper supplies? Rental Solutions provides these as well; from propane to firewood and mulch, from various work apparel to shop vacuums, the company has it covered.

In addition to rentals the company also offers equipment sales, new and used. The list of equipment for sale includes backhoes, trucks, forklifts, jackhammers, aerators, power washers and hand tools.
