St.
Joseph Catholic Community 2nd Annual Christian Music Festival June
30th

The
St. Joseph Catholic Community youth group is putting on the 2nd
Annual Christian Music Festival in the St. Joe's Gym on June 30th
starting at 3PM and ending at 10 PM. We have six bands doing this
event including recording artist Cry of Mercy from the Carroll County
area. Other bands that are involved include Woodbine Hotline, Exodus,
The Encounter House Band, 40Days and Don't Call This A Comeback.
The church, bands and food providers all volunteered their space,
time and supplies to this event in order to ensure all proceeds
go to the charity or mission of choice this year. Last year this
event raised $1000.00 which was given to Carroll County Food Sunday
along with a ton of can food.
All proceeds go to the families of Cary Stone and Lisa Wiley who
recently passed away. Cary died last month of a heart attack at
the age of 42. He leaves behind his wife Nora and 2 daughters. Lisa
died of cancer at the age of 42. She leaves behind her husband Jim
, 2 daughters and a son . Both were very involved in youth ministry
programs.
Tickets for the concert are $5 each and will be sold at the door.
Advance purchases can be completed by stopping by the St. Joseph
Parish office at 915 Liberty Road Eldersburg, MD 21784. Donations
can be made to the families through the event. Checks should be
made payable to: St. Joseph Catholic Community. In the memo area,
