Tristar Martial Arts Kicks it Up a Notch

Tristar Martial Arts located in Eldersburg behind Arby’s is one of the largest and most successful Karate Schools in Carroll County. Recognized largely for their superior service and student support, Tristar Martial Arts is owned by Shidoshi Keith Thompson and his wife Debbie Thompson of Eldersburg. The Thompson’s are complimented by a professional staff of instructors which any business owner would be proud of.

Monday January 31, 2006, Tristar held a Karate Test. Successful student demonstrated various sparring techniques, kicks, takedown moves and counterstrikes for a standing room only crowd. Pictured are various students at different levels in the Karate education as they work under the close supervision of Shidoshi Thompson and several instructors.

Students (white) work to earn different color belts signifying their level of accomplishment in the educational path towards ultimately achieving “Black Belt” status. Student pictured wearing Black pants have made the commitment to earn their “Black Belt”. Instructors are identified by Blue.
