Fate
of 20-acre parcel of land under debate
The fate of a 20-acre parcel of land located off of Liberty Road
and backing to Kali drive in Eldersburg will be discussed in a Carroll
County courtroom today. Today's fight between county officials and
an Ellicott City developer continues a nearly 10-year-long saga
in development of the property.

Freedom
Water Plant Superintendent Cited for Expired Certification
Carroll
County said this week that the superintendent of the Freedom District
Water Treatment Plant has not maintained required certification
for that position, and that his certification as a “Class
IV” water operator has expired.
