Restaurant Notes
April

Classy
yet Casual - These words best describe the “Eatalian”
eatery in Eldersburg. Strapazza is conveniently located in the Princess
Shopping Center on route 26. This shopping center in Eldersburg
is quickly becoming the most popular shopping and dining destination
in town.
The
restaurant serves traditional Italian cuisine from hot and cold
antipasti (appetizers) to pasta dishes, through a wide variety of
salads, pizza, and panini (sandwiches). Extensive menu provides
a variety of choices, whether you like seafood, veal, or neither
one. Warm breadsticks with butter appear at your table immediately
after you are seated. After a comforting meal you can enjoy a satisfying
Italian dessert, like Tiramisu or Cannoli. There is even a children’s
menu, because this great new lunch and dinner place is very family
oriented. Carryout menu with complete family dinners like Lasagna
Napoletana, salad, and breadsticks combination, is also available.
Strapazza offers a small, but thoughtful wine selection with red
and white, Italian and American wines. Other beverages include beer,
sodas, and coffee. Prices here are very reasonable, with lunch specials
starting at $5.50 to entrees costing around $10.00. Many different
forms of payment are accepted.
Couples
and Singles, as well as families will be able to relax in the dimmed
lights atmosphere of a tastefully decorated dining room. Seating
arrangements can accommodate small or large parties alike. Booths
and freestanding tables are nicely set and waiting for Strapazza’s
guests. The most impressive embellishment of this cozy space is
the large wall fresco depicting a beautiful, calming, and elegant
Italian landscape.
The best part of dining at Strapazza is the feeling of being welcomed
and well cared for. Service is excellent, attentive, but discrete.
The server is there when you need another drink or a dessert, but
after an initial check of “Is everything cooked to your liking?”
you can enjoy your meal uninterrupted.
When
you visit Strapazza, don’t forget to taste the scrumptious
Chicken Vesuvio covered with delicious Strapazza Marinara Sauce
and flavored with garlic and rosemary. Fettuccine Alfredo is a great
choice for the creamy white sauce enthusiasts…or just order
lasagna, which has no equal when it comes to homemade pasta noodles
and this special meaty flavor.
Enjoy a new flavor of Eldersburg!

Strapazza is an authentic Italian enjoyment. You get to enjoy the nice and new Italian gouremey food and also enjoy the comfortable famiy expierence. When you think of Italian food you think, oh great another plate of spaghetti. But at Strapazza you get to choose from gourmey soups, Meditarrian salads, delicous ice creams and delicous wine and beers from your choosing.

It's an odd dish to like -- but you have to try their sauteed broccoli. Just incredible. In fact, everything I've tried at this restaurant is way above average.
>
Strapazza's is no more. Now it's Romeo's. You can't show your hours and then close an hour and a half early in the evening because you're not busy and expect to stay in business. New management took over several months ago - the recipes changed - for the worst - and when they had been open for quite some time and still hadn't printed new menus, you knew it was over for them.

I want to write about Romeo's that has taken over Strapazza.I loved this place.I had a wonderful service, the waitress was Samantha, the food was very good I had the Frutti Genovese and my husband had the Tortellini Vodka. We also had their Insalata del Sole, with grilled shrimp.Delicious!!.It is well worth to check this place out.By the way Strapazza had many management problems, owner never into the premises.
