Eldersburg.Net Living in Eldersburg Survey 2007

Part II: Eldersburgians Love the Quality of Life
In response to the question "What is your favorite thing about Eldersburg?", survey respondents en masse said that their favorite thing about Eldersbug was the quality of life here. The top responses and corresponding percentages are:

1. Quality of Life (50 %)
2. Outdoor Beauty of Area (12.7 %)
3. Other (12.7 %)
4. Community (10 %)
5. People (7.3 %)
6. Schools (7.3 %)
7. Shopping (0 %)

Several of the Other favorite things could have been included in the Quality of Life choice; these included
- Driving convenience
- Proximity to Baltimore and Washington
- Not in Baltimore
- Safer than Baltimore County

When we created this survey, we had no inkling that Eldersburg would soon be named by Money/CNN as one of the Top 100 Places to Live. The personal feedback we received confirmed the listing of Eldersburg at #56, but beyond the numerical number crunching that the magazine had done. This view of Eldersburg being a great place to live was also reflected as the overall theme in the film we produced last year: Eldersburg: Boondock Suburbia.
