is the weekly source for all the unofficial stuff that may not be
in Eldersburg Print. I'm Jay-Burg, local resident, worker bee, and
connoisseur of everything E-Burg.
K-Mart
to Stay
We've found out from a source that K-Mart intends to stay in its
Carrolltown Center location for the remainder of its 30-year lease.
This is holding up any redevelopment of Carrolltown Center, as
shared by Dixon Harvey at a FACC meeting earlier this year.
So, it looks like Eldersburg is going to have K-Mart for a wee bit
longer, and no definite timetable for the center redevelopment.
What's
happening with the Double T lot?
The fenced in lot, right next to the 26 and 32 intersection is owned
by the owners of the Double T Diner. Word is that they're not sure
if they're going to build a Double T there or sell the property.
Interestingly, one
web site already lists a Double T Diner as being located in Eldersburg.
